Amy M. Ehrlich

Amy M. Ehrlich,founder of the Creative Arts Studio School of Arts & Gallery (1986), is also an award winning artist and author of the children's book, Yes You Can Draw! Amy holds a BA degree in textiles and design from the University of Missouri, with additional course study from the University of Texas, in Arlington and North Texas, with graduate hours at SAGU University.
In 1999 Amy was added to the prestigious list of Texas artists that work with the Texas Commision on the Arts. There she served as Resident Artist for Imagisphere Children's Museum from 1999 to 2000 in north Richland Hills, Texas.
Amy was called to teach at Covenant Christian Academy as an art instructor in 2003, where she continues to teach her after school classes. Amy was a recipient of a Japan Fulbright Memorial Scholarship in 2007, which took her to Japan for a three week study-tour of Japan with other educators from the United States.
Amy continues to show and display her artwork through public and private venues, and through her website. She has had several one-woman shows and numerous group shows throughout Texas, Missouri, and Connecticut. She is a signature member of the Society of Watercolor Artists, and belongs to and has won awards in the Trinity Arts Guild, the Southwest Watercolor Society, the Irving Arts Association,and the Irving Arts Connection. Amy is also a member of St. Michael's Catholic Community,and the Texas Art Educators Association.
